Nominate a Horse for a Silver Circuit Award

Silver Circuit Awards Program

In 2024 the NWSA has expanded the Silver Circuit Award Program to include Open Breed Shows, Ranch Riding Competitions and Endurance Competitions. Members will now nominate the American Saddlebred the will be riding and pick the events they want to participate in all over the Northwest and British Columbia. Results will be scored and points awarded based on the length of the event.

-Program Rules-

  1. The horse owners and riders/drivers/handlers must be current NWSA members. If a horse has multiple owners, at least one owner must be a member.

  2. Points will begin to accrue on the date that NWSA receives a completed membership application, horse nomination and payment

  3. For a show to be considered for Silver Circuit Points (outside of a breed show) a prize list must be submitted to NWSAmembership@gmail.com at least 2 weeks in advance of a horse show to be eligible for points. This is the sole responsibility of the owner or trainer. Every effort will be made to post prize lists on the NWSA website for member benefit

  4. Points will be calculated per calendar year January through December.

  5. Riders, drivers, handlers must have their individual points sheets signed by the show secretary or official for points to count.

  6. Riders, drivers, handlers must submit their completed points sheets to the NWSAmembership@gmail.com no more than 2 weeks after each show.

  7. Riders, drivers or handlers must compete at three separate shows or events in at least 6 classes. Endurance must compete in at least 4 rides in a calendar year.
